As in year’s past, the Toshiba Classic 2009 raised funds to support
more than 20 local charities.

The tournament’s primary beneficiary, Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian, is a nationally acclaimed hospital that brings world-class healthcare to the community. Also supported was the Toshiba Classic Scholarship Fund, which donates scholarship funds and Toshiba laptop computers to some of Orange County, California’s high school elite. In total, the Toshiba Classic has raised over 10 million dollars over the past 10 years.
